Minneapolis & St. Paul Movers

I had contacted several moving companies in advance with a need for two movers to unload a few large items out of my reserved U-Haul at my new home. Each company insisted that I needed a truck with “professional” movers to excuse the high prices I was quoted. All I needed covered was 15 minutes of work with travel time and expenses factored in for the movers. I later spoke with Ryan over at the Bloomington, MN U-Haul location to contact Floyd with Midwest Elite. When I spoke with Floyd, he understood exactly what I needed and set realistic expectations without trying to add extra things to the service. 2 hour minimum was fine given the distance. We both were very flexible with scheduling, and Floyd was prompt with keeping in contact the day of the move. The movers came and brought in the items without issue. They notified me that Floyd would call to handle billing after they left. I spoke with Floyd again to handle payment for the service. The only issue we had was my Visa debit card and Amex credit card were not going through for his payment processor (Square?). Floyd said Venmo or PayPal were acceptable alternatives for payment, so I easily submitted payment through Venmo. Overall, this part of the move was the easiest thing I had to deal with, and Floyd was very sympathetic to the moving challenges I faced. I would use this service again for a big or small move. Floyd (owner) of Midwest Elite Movers is very professional, easy to work with and knows how to properly (fairly) price for the job requested. They kept the mood light even at the end of 9 hours of moving, which is more than I can say for myself. Floyd and Al were BEYOND amazing! I had a small job (three pieces to move from the main floor to the second floor), but the pieces were awkward as is the layout of my old home. Floyd and Al were so creative in their approach to get the pieces moved quickly and carefully. They worked very hard and were true professionals! I would hire them again in a second! You should hire them too.

Floyd and his crew were amazing! We needed help moving a refrigerator to another area of our house. We live in an old Minneapolis house, so doorways aren’t exactly wide. Floyd and his crew expertly helped us decide what the best path was and disassembled what they could of the refrigerator to make it fit. Floyd was also very responsive when I reached out for a quote…and compared to the other three moving companies I got quotes from, his was the best and most reasonable!

They were awesome, I paid a bit more than I expected, But the guys were awesome, respectful, and when I got back to my old place to do a bit of sweeping etc. They had swept everything in a pile and moved the last of my plants to the living room, so all I had to do was take my plants and lock up. I was quoted 814, and ended being charged a little over 1100, so they ended up costing me the same amount as all the other companies that quoted that amount, but there were lower estimates, so I don't know if I'd use them again, but overall the pricing ended up being way over my original budget, I ended up having to pay 165 dollars an hour extra , and that was more than EVERY other companies hourly quote that I spoke with, so I would for sure of made a different choice, The guys being just awesome somewhat made up for the shocking final bill....I was not happy with that at all ...

Pros: kind, courteous, wrapped and padded items that needed it. Cons: arrived an hour late with no communication, I’ve never seen movers move SO slow, and they dropped a box and some items broke.

If we could choose 10 stars, we would! Floyd and his team were fantastic! They helped us with two commercial moves and they went above and beyond! Great communicators and executed precisely according to the specifications! This team delivers peace of mind like no other!

My storage space was a disaster and they not only made sense of it but after everybody in my moving party told me that there was no way that all this stuff was going to fit in that storage Floyd made it happen and I would recommend him to anybody he was reasonable he didn't charge the last minute fee like I couldn't have picked more professional movers and he stated I was like thank you for doing such a good job and he said well the intention of my company is to treat it as if this was our stuff and that meant a lot it showed the Integrity of the company so I would check them out 10 times over before anybody else they get like 10,000 Stars because they didn't just do a good job they were very personable and even empathetic to my situation like they were just above and beyond

I've been terrified of using movers because of the horror stories I've heard from friends but these guys were great. They were careful with everything yet quick. I lived in Stevens Square with no parking and tight streets and they managed to get it sorted out without a hassle. The quote they gave me is what I paid them. No games and no hidden fees. I highly recommend them to anyone in the cities.
